Yujin Robot, a specialist in autonomous mobility solutions, and MyungSe CMK, a company specializing in temperature-controlled food delivery carts for hospital patients, announced that they will unveil their jointly-developed autonomous delivery cart, Drigo, at the 36th Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES 2021) on the 18th.
Drigo, debuting at this exhibition, is the world's first temperature-controlled autonomous delivery cart, combining MyungSe CMK's food delivery cart technology with Yujin Robot's autonomous mobility solutions.
Equipped with autonomous mobility technology, Drigo can map its surroundings and navigate autonomously through hospital environments, such as kitchens, hallways, and cleaning areas. It can carry loads of up to 600 kg and operate under various on-site conditions, including getting on and off elevators and moving multiple carts simultaneously.
Drigo improves user convenience and efficiency by enabling users to switch between autonomous and electric modes. Yujin Robot is currently in the process of securing PLd-grade safety certification for international exports.
The temperature control system keeps food fresh during transit, ensuring healthier meals for patients. Additionally, Drigo includes an integrated management system with a tray holder extraction system for effective cleaning after distribution and a UV lamp for internal sterilization, ensuring thorough and safe sanitation management.
