Yujin Robot (CEO Seong-ju Park), a specialist in autonomous logistics robots and total smart factory solutions, announced on the 11th that it has established and begun operations at a branch office in Munich, Germany.
The establishment of the Munich office was driven by the continued growth in overseas orders for logistics and assembly automation solutions. Yujin Robot strategically chose Munich for its office due to the smooth progression of projects for German orders, improved accessibility to existing export countries and clients, and the expansion of its automation solutions business in Europe.
The AMS and SAS divisions of Yujin Robot are focused on providing end-to-end solutions in autonomous mobility and smart factory technologies, which are emerging as key industries in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The company has developed various products based on its successful development of comprehensive autonomous robot solutions.
Yujin Robot is the only company in the domestic mobile robot sector to have obtained ISO 13482 safety certification, enabling it to export to European markets and establish a global partner supply chain. Its solutions have been implemented in numerous SME factories and logistics warehouses domestically, achieving factory automation and smart factories.
The Munich office will serve as a forward base to advance the European projects acquired this year and strengthen relationships with existing export countries such as Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, and Hungary.
Yujin Robot has already moved into the Munich office and is currently engaged in and expanding projects with global companies headquartered in Germany. The company also plans to continue developing new projects, installing systems, and maintaining operations with major European companies by continually recruiting local engineering talent.
"Yujin Robot has targeted overseas markets with its autonomous mobility technology essential for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, establishing global standards and export competitiveness," said Seong-ju Park, CEO of Yujin Robot. He added, "We will focus our technology and resources on specialized fields to ensure sustainable performance in key industries and markets."
Yujin Robot has improved management efficiency and solidified its identity as an automation solutions specialist through a successful business unit restructuring strategy, resulting in significant overseas orders. The GoCart autonomous logistics robots supplied to the U.S. and Europe have entered the European healthcare solutions market, including use in COVID-19 wards and sterilization facilities of major hospitals in Slovenia. Additionally, the company is expanding its collaboration with global premium appliance manufacturer Miele to explore the North American and European markets.
