Yujin Robot (CEO Seong-ju Park), a specialist in autonomous mobility solutions, announced on the 28th that it is entering the European healthcare solutions market with GoCart, its autonomous logistics delivery robot. GoCart was the first mobile robot in Korea to receive ISO 13482 international safety standard certification.
Yujin Robot announced on the 28th that it will export the GoCart Omni 200, a model designed for autonomous driving within central sterile services departments (CSSD) in hospitals, to Italian medical sterilization equipment company Steelco S.p.A.
Steelco is renowned for supplying top global hospitals with solutions for medical services, laboratory research, pharmaceuticals, and CSSD environments.
The GoCart Omni 200 combines Yujin Robot's autonomous mobility technology with Steelco's Mobile Automatic Transfer System (M-ATS), specifically designed for CSSD environments. It will serve as a shuttle robot for transporting surgical tools to sterilization facilities within hospitals. Areas designated for sterilization are difficult for humans to access and maintain sterility, but robots can perform these tasks more efficiently, emphasizing the need for autonomous delivery in these settings.
