On the 5th, The Robot News announced the selection of 26 companies for the Korea Robot Company of the Year 2022 Award.
This award evaluates comprehensive factors such as contributions to the development of the Korean robotics industry, future growth potential, CEO management capabilities, new product launches, and market performance. Companies were selected across five categories: industrial robots, professional service robots, personal service robots, robot components, and robot software/platforms.
The selected companies by category are as follows: In the Industrial Robots category are Nau Robotics, Neuromeka, Doosan Robotics, T-Robotics, and Hyundai Robotics. In the Professional Service Robots category are Koh Young Technology, Robots and Design, Syscon Robotics, XYZ, LG Electronics, Curexo, Twinny, THIRA Robotics, COGA Robotics, and Hills Robotics. In the Personal Service Robots category are Angel Robotics, Yujin Robot, and HEXAR Humancare. In the Robot Components category are ROBOTIS, Synapse Imaging, UND, SPG, Aidin Robotics, and Higen Motor. Finally, in the Robot Software/Platforms category are Bigwave Robotics and Clobot.
Among these companies, Yujin Robot has been honored for seven consecutive years since 2016, Neuromeka for six years since 2017, and Doosan Robotics for five consecutive years. T-Robotics has received the award five times, while Syscon Robotics, SPG, Angel Robotics, Higen Motor, and Hyundai Robotics have each won for four consecutive years.
